MOTAT visit and stories

Room 4 had an awesome visit to MOTAT as part of our Invention concept. Thank you to all our parent helpers that accompanied us!

Drip... drop... drip... drop... drip the rain was dripping down the window but that wouldn't stop me from my exciting day. Ding dong went the bell "yah" I said. I ran out of the class and lined up. My class did too. Stomp, stomp, stomp everybody's feet were loud. We walked up the path and in the bus to MOTAT bump, bump, bump the bus went over a rock. Finally we got to MOTAT. We saw amazing things like a teeny town with a moving train and olden day houses with olden day stuff.

Yesterday I had the best day of my life...I went to MOTAT. I was excited as having a mince cheese pie. MOTAT was as interesting as ever. Cricerty, cricerty crock we went trotting down the path. After that my tummy was rumbling rumble-rumble. I said "It's morning tea time". Next after morning tea we went on a walk around. We saw pipes and filters. Drip, drop went the blue shiny water. Also we got to see the playground. It was with monkey bars and whisper plates.

Hooray! I went to the mirror maze. It was fun super fun! I kept touching the mirrors and banged into the mirrors. It made me feel dizzy.

I was happy, happy, happy yesterday because the awesome Year 2's went to .....MOTAT! I went in the very hard mirror maze. I kept on bumping into mirrors. Then I went to the earthquake café. When I pressed the button the room started to shake. I was sad, sad, sad when we got to school but at least I had the best day ever.
